The invisible optical cable is a layer of transparent coating material extruded on the separate optical fiber. The coating material is usually nylon 12 (PA12) or thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) with high transparency, high hardness and high bending resistance.

The invisible cable is formed by adding a layer of optical cable sheath to the invisible optical cable.
